Burns Pet Team

At Burns Pet Health we are committed to a holistic, natural approach to diet. We are also committed to a 'no pressure sales' approach when recommending our foods and supplements.

Chinese Nutrition

The Chinese traditional approach to nutrition has much to offer modern lives.

In Chinese medecine foods are classified as warming and cooling.

If the body is overheating we should eat cooling foods such as cucumber.

If it is cold we eat warming foods.

Salads in summer, stews and soups in winter. Common sense.

Exercise

You need it, your dog needs it and your cat needs it.

My mother is 92 years young and I hear her say regularly "use it or lose it."

So make the effort and make sure both you and your dog or cat get plenty of exercise.

Exercise stimulates the immune system to expel toxins from the system. In itself, its a good enough reason for exercising. Wouldn't you agree?

Burns Pet Team

The Burns Pet Team are here to help you understand the issues associated with the health of your pet.

We believe most ailments in dogs and cats are a result of improper diet. Find out more about us.

Every day we get asked many pet health questions. Questions range from treating diabetes in dogs to curing ear mites in cats.

The advice we offer is not intended as a substitute for that of a licensed professional.

In the event that you use the information for the health of your animals or yourself, you are prescribing for your animals or yourself, which is your constitutional right and for which the author of this site assumes no responsibility.

Before emailing or calling may we suggest you read our frequently asked questions. This will enable us to help you better in that we can devote time to those questions which are less common and require very specific advice.
