Geoffrey D'Arcy - Burns Pet Heath Advisor
Geoffrey D’Arcy, Lic. Ac., D.O.M., brings a wealth of Eastern
philosophy and training to the healing art of herbal medicine. He
began his training in Japan, in the mid-1970s, and returned to England
to gain his licentiate in traditional Chinese acupuncture. Geoff
went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in hospitals
and colleges in China, and received a doctorate in Oriental Medicine
in the United States.
His goal of integrating herbal medicine from East and West has
inspired him to broaden his study of Chinese herbs to include herbs
from cultures all over the world. Using the botanical wisdom of
TCM as a base — and adding to it the discoveries of modern
research and the insights of Ayurvedic, European, North American,
and South American cultures — Geoff has arrived at a very
powerful “world herb” perspective.
Geoff has written many articles and several books on his holistic
approach to healing; he co-founded two integrative medical centers
that have pioneered holistic medical care. He recently has expanded
his horizon to include the world of holistic pet care and has enjoyed
working with holistic veterinarians, medical doctors, naturopathic
doctors committed to integrating herbal medicine into their practices.
He currently is director of and practices at the D'Arcy Wellness
Clinic in Natick, Massachusetts . Geoff is a herbal consultant,
manufacturer, formulator and spokesperson for International companies
including Burns Pet Health Inc and Land of Holistic Pets Ltd in
Scotland.
